active install values don’t match between .org and wp-admin add new

    Hi,

    For some reason, the active installations count displayed on the www.remarpro.com page for our plugin and the count displayed when searching for the plugin within WP-Admin > Plugins > Add New are different.

    What causes this? Is there something in the readme that we may need to update?

    Caching — don’t worry to much about it. Things are rounded off and caches are refreshed at varying times.

    Hi Steven,

    Thanks for your reply! We’ve been tracking this for over 4 weeks (before posting here), so we’re concerned it may be something else. Is it possible that we’ve done something in the plugin to disrupt this count from updating on the .org site?

    Nothing is wrong. You have around 10 active users is all. WP Admin rounds up in your favor, while WP.org does not.
