Active Directory Integration Allows Any Password

  • Hi there! This plugin seems to work great, but we started doing testing, and even though it appears to be hitting our A.D. it is allowing users to enter random passwords, it doesn’t even require them to enter the same password when logging in/out/and back in. When I use the test tool I get the same behavior. I can test with my correct A.D. password and it says Authentication Successful, then I can test with a random password and it says Authentication Successful. Unfortunately this site is behind firewalls but I’d be happy to share my settings with anyone that can help!

    WTF?
    I’ve never heard of this behavior before. There must be something completely wrong in your system. Please send me an email, so we can find out. christoph.steindorff_at_ecw.de
