• Hello. We have a WordPress site for our employees, hosted externally, and we authenticate to Active Directory. It works well with the Active Directory Authentication plugin, but it is slow. It is a 10-15 second wait for the authentication to “click”. I was looking for something that could use the “cached” authentication from when the client logged into Active Directory the first time to access our network so that it would not take so long to log onto the site. Does your plug-in provide that type of functionality? I’m not sure that something like what I am looking for exists. Thank you.

  • The plugin itself does not support something like you are looking for. BUT you would only have to write your own little snippet to be able to do what you are wanting.

This plugin really only deals with SSO and getting data from the WordPress database when they logged in. I built the plugin to be flexible but I am afraid that this plugin will not do what you are looking for out of the box.

Thank you for the vote of confidence that I would “only have to write my own little snippet”. That and a whole new brain that knows how to do that will get me there! If you are so inclined, I would be extremely appreciative of perhaps more of a clue of what that little snippet might consist of, otherwise, I appreciate your reply! Thank you.
