Active class not being added to current parent

  • I’m using the grid layout for my main navigation. When a child page is loaded the parent of that page is not getting the .current_parent class. The only classes it has: mega-menu-item mega-menu-item-type-custom mega-menu-item-object-custom mega-menu-item-has-children mega-menu-megamenu mega-align-bottom-left mega-menu-grid mega-item-align-float-left mega-menu-item-58 mega-toggle-on

    I’m trying to turn the main parent navigation a different color when a child is loaded but I can’t seem to figure out why it isn’t adding that class. I have “Highlight Current Item” enabled (checked).
