Periodically the site above as well as several others gets brute force attacks. In this case I’d like to switch on the Citadel mode manually to avoid server traffic. How can this be done? It does not help to set Threshold on Citadel mode to 1, because the attacks come all from differnt IPs.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

When it comes to activating the Citadel mode, WP Cerber counts all lockouts that have occurred during the specified period and not by IP individually. So it makes sense to set the threshold to any reasonable value that works well for your website.

Thanks. Last week I had extremely many attacks and more than hundred lockouts on various sites, but citadel mode was not aktivated on any of them (threshold set to 1 in 999 minutes). So I guessed WP Cerber counts distinct IPs. If that is not the case, I wonder, why Citadel mode was not set. Anyway, I would like to have a possibility to set Citadel mode manually.
