    Hi Support.

We have had issues with valid emails from our gmail account going into spam or being deleted at the users side. We have implemented the changes from Gmail for the MX records in our hosting site to authenticate the emails are not spam. But we want to get away from sending the customer yet another email to click on to activate their account.

What we need is that once the customer has provided their email, contact info etc and paid for the item(s), they still receive the “Order Complete” webpage, but we require the activation link to also be provided on this webpage.

Would also receive the email with activation, but want the customer journey to be better. Hence having the activation link of their account on the webpage.

    Hello @witsendsolutions,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, you’d like to include the password creation link on the order-received page, correct? :?)

While it may be more convenient for your customers, it may not be a good idea from a security standpoint. This is because it would let customers create accounts on your store using email addresses they don’t actually own. The main reason for sending a link via email is for customers to verify that they own the email address.

That said, you can use the woocommerce_thankyou hook to edit the order received page.

For a more detailed explanation with some examples, kindly check https://woocommerce.com/posts/customize-woocommerce-thank-you-confirmation-page/.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
