Activation Issue

    Hey,

    When I try to activate the Duplicator I’m getting this error:

    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class DUP_Log in /home/medicine/store.tripsymbol.com/wp-content/plugins/duplicator/classes/class.logging.php on line 8”

    How can I fix it?

  • Hey @saillook,

    It looks like there is another plugin that is using the same class name. To pin-point the issue, you will need to deactivate all plugins that are not very popular. For example if you have Yoast SEO or WordPress Akismet don’t deactivate those, but if you have some other non-popular WP plugins then disable those plugins. Then try to active Duplicator, then try and reactivate the other plugins one-by-one till the error shows up again. At that point you should see the plugin that is conflicting with Duplicator.
