When I try to activate I get this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_USE, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/content/34/11380234/html/awpdb/wp-content/plugins/wp-phpmyadmin-extension/index.php on line 29

I host at Godaddy and have tried this on 3 different sites — all with the exact same result.

    Thank you for any help.

  • Hi.
Please post the information about server PHP version.
I doubt the problem is there.

PHP version 5.3. Thanks for responding.

yes, that’s problem. Plugin works >= 5.4 version.
if you need, you should upgrate the version, it’s simple and problemless problem.

    OK! I will update.
Updated and it worked (and I don’t think anything else crashed!).
Thank you for your help. Marilyn

I think there shouldnt be crashed anything. All WP ecosystem is built to use from php 5.3 version, and during one year, the requreiment will be php 7.0, i even advise to switch to php above 7.1 at this moment together once for all.
    Good luck.

I host with Godaddy and my Linux account only goes up to php 5.6. I’ll stay tuned. Thank you. I appreciate those on the forefront — I’m slowly getting out of doing web things as I’m getting older!
    Again, thanks! Marilyn
