Activation error

  • The plugin installed correctly, but when I try to activate it, I get the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/www/caelanlandrig.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/age-gate/admin/class-age-gate-admin.php on line 975

    No hurry, building this for a friend and she’s not in a big hurry.

    Hi @philster,

    I can’t reproduce this. How did you install? Can you delete and install again from the plugin directory in wp-admin?

    Hey Philsbury,

    Yep, already tried a reinstall. I installed it from the add plugins page in WordPress. Another plugin worked. I had this same error with an unrelated plugin as well, and had to use another.

    THat’s pretty odd, especially if you’ve had it in other plugins.

    What other plugins are you running?
