Activation email not going to hotmail/outlook.com email accounts

  • Hi,

    The activation emails are going to all email accounts except for email accounts ending in hotmail.com or outlook.com (Hotmail and outlook or now the same).

    What is the fix for this?

  • Have you tried other plugins that send e-mails to verify it’s not your mail server which may have been blacklisted?

    No I haven’t. I have a whole review system on my website and don’t want to mess up anything. Just wondered were others having the same issue and a possible fix is.

    Btw, other plugins from similar sites work fine with hotmail/outlook just not this particular plugin.

    TML uses the exact same functions that WP core uses. Have you (or your users) checked the junk/spam folders of these accounts?

    Hi,

    I checked junk/spam, it’s there. It took a few days to get there though. Is there a way to fix that? If you have a Hotmail account to test you will experience the same thing.
