Activation Email – is there a way to skip entering the key?

Hello,
When a user is getting the activation email, it has the code at the end of the url, but that’s not obvious to the user and they email us asking where it is. Is there a way to skip that step, so that when they click on the email it automatically redirects them to the site and logs them in?The other thing I tried was turning on “Auto-Login” in the plugin settings. When I register with that option on it still sends the activation email and doesn’t log me in.

I set that option in the settings:
TML Settings: https://i.imgur.com/fI5Vx1v.jpg (tried with both auto-login checked and unchecked)
and then I dumped the server cache. I’m still getting the same email with the code in the url string.
