Activating Yoast SEO causes [wp_support_plus] to disappear

  • I’d really like to use Yoast with my site, but installing and activating it causes my [wp_support_plus] section to disappear from its page. The HTML appears to be entirely gone. Deactivating Yoast causes it to appear again upon refreshing the page.

    Do you have any ideas what might be causing this, or for a workaround? I would like to use both the ticket system and Yoast SEO.

    I noticed if I change line 39 in wp-support-plus-responsive-ticket-system/includes from:

    include_once( WCE_PLUGIN_DIR.'includes/loggedInUser.php' );

    to:

    include( WCE_PLUGIN_DIR.'includes/loggedInUser.php' );

    That allows me to activate Yoast without losing my support ticket page.

    With that knowledge – will a WordPress admin login still help you? I can provide one – just not FTP access (due to client agreements).

    Hi Tamara,

    In that case, only admin login can not help, but I can change above line in next version so that this issue can be resolved by default in future.

    I may have spoken too soon – I now cannot create new tickets on the page with the [wp_support_plus] section. When I click the tab to create a new ticket, the UI does not appear.

    There is a workaround – I can still create them in the WordPress dashboard.
