More info:
T+When i backed up the database from a working version i.e. a version that would still crash when the database update completed items but which worked with woocommerce active, the database copy did NOT clear the problem when restored.
So I used another tool to back up the database excluding action scheduler items a nd restored the database. That seems more stable, but the database is updating the database in the background and kit never stops. Remember we are using a hosts file to access the site so it will not resolve for a normal site connection. IU suspect that this is causing the issue. As long as I don’t activate or run or go to look at the database updates the site seems stable now and I heve restored the database twice to test.

* Regarding the error
You can perform the following actions:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
