• Hi Diego,

Maybe a stupid question, how to activate the lightbox ?

I am using your Gallery Final Tiles Grid and have set:
WordPress native galleries to “enable” the lightbox on all native galleries
    and
All linked images “Activate” EverlightBox on all linked images. Still the “old” lightbox shows. (I have refreshed my caching plugin and the pages) What am i missing here ?

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John,

go to Final Tiles Gallery and instead of choosing a lightbox select: “Direct link to image”. And keep EverlightBox active on all linked images.

    Hi,

I’m having a problem activating this as well. Your lightbox looks exactly like what I need, and I’ve selected to enable on all native galleries, however nothing seems to happen when I click on images on my website.

Ideally I’d like it to operate on any picture content, though I’m also planning on setting up a Modula gallery on one of the pages (though I couldn’t activate it when I tried this locally, it only displayed as Modula does when clicked). Would this be possible, or am I misunderstanding the function of how this works?

My website is https://www.thedreaming.is (running the Nisarg theme), any help would be appreciated ?? It looks really beautifully designed, I’d love to be able to use it.

Hi, same as for John, go to your Modula gallery and select “Direct link to image” instead of “Lightbox”.

    Cheers
    Diego

Thank you Diego, though it still doesn’t seem to work on non-modula images. Is there some script that I can add so it will?

Once again, many thanks ?? I really appreciate that you made such a useful plug-in.

    Hi,

have you flagged “Activate on all linked images”?
Can you give me a URL where I can see the issue?

Yes, I have. I can’t give a screenshot because it’s just that nothing happens. It works with modula, but with standalone images on other pages / articles the lightbox doesn’t seem to be active. If I want to open anything larger I have to right click and use a new window in the browser.

Can you please give me the URL of a page where the lightbox is not working?

Ok, so static page ex. https://thedreaming.is/projects/ and test article here: https://thedreaming.is/2016/10/26/on-the-making-of-this-website-welcome/.

Thank you for your fast responses, I really appreciate it.

By your silence am I right to assume that the program simply doesn’t do these things, no error involved?

Hi, I’m really sorry, it’s just I hardly keep track of all requests.

I’ve checked your pages but actually I can’t see linked images. To activate the lightbox you need to link images to their media file. I’m going to make a short video, hold on.

Ok, here is a short video where I show how I activate EverlightBox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B93uyFH99Ig

Thank you so much, I’m going to change my review to 5 star now. It is really nice that you’ve developed such a good program, and are doing so much work like this to help people understand it. I really appreciate it, and wish you all the success in the future Diego ??
