Activating plugin doesn’t remove fields
-
Hi,
I’m using WordPress 5.4.2 and Woocommerce 4.3.1 and I’m selling both digital and physical goods. I’d like an easier checkout for people who only want digital goods, so I activated the plugin, flipped the switch and turned off all fields except for first name, last name and email address.
However, when I look at the checkout page with only a virtual product in my cart, the fields’ CSS seems to have changed and the country selection drop drown is gone, but the address fields are still visible. I tried both when I’m logged in as admin and when I try to check out through an incognito window.
My shop is based in the Netherlands and set as such in Woocommerce. I tried another plugin to remove the address altogether as a test but it seems like WooCommerce is forcing some fields as required (such as the address fields). Am I missing something here?
(I’ve disabled the plugin and reverted back to my old situation, so trying the checkout won’t make a difference)
