• Hi, my Addtoany buttons were working fine until one of the last upgrades. Now I can’t get the menu to come up. I tried adding the bits of code to my header and footer as suggested in the FAQ but it had no effect.

If I remove the button that adds to Twitter, FB, etc, then the Subscribe one does start to work again. But as soon as I put up the main one, even uninstalling and reinstalling both, then both don’t work. I can’t get the main one to work any more at all.

I can see the button working fine on the AddtoAny site, so I’m pretty sure it’s not my browser.

My site is https://www.eat-the-evidence.com/ I currently have the main button on, set to its defaults.

Any help would be appreciated. I love this service and would like to get it working again. Thanks!

You have one or more plugins (including wpng-calendar) which are producing JavaScript errors on your site. Another plugin is also mangling some of the AddToAny JavaScript code, so I’d recommend disabling all others plugins then try troubleshooting from there.

I updated again since there was a new update, and then tried disabling all plugins except “AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Buttons” and “AddToAny: Subscribe Button”. Somewhere in there the Subscribe button started working again, so yay for that. But the Share button menu is still not coming up even with all other plugins off.

I’m going to turn some of them back on now. How can I check to see java errors being created? I’m not even sure how you could see a problem with the calendar. Forgive my ignorance, my other website is coded in W3C-compliant HTML in notepad so all of this java/php stuff is new to me.

    Thanks!

I did delete that calendar and put in another one, but the problem is still there.

Here are the plugins I’ve got going (having turned them all off as per above and now back on): the two AddtoAny, Akismet, Auto Copyright, BackUpWordPress, Google Calendar Widget, Simple Twitter Connect – Base, STC – Comments. That’s it.
