    Installed this on my site, network activated it on a Multisite and now I am bricked out of my site. White screen. I have deactivated the plugin from FTP but WP-CLI is also not working and still a 500 error. Does this plugin change permissions, .htaccess etc.. or any other clues I should look for?

    Host resolved, they said that the plugin created a blank wp-config file in the directory. Our host uses a protected location for the wp-config file and my guess is this plugin looks for the file and trys to update the debug setting and if the file is not where it “should” be a file is created. Removed that phantom file and everything went back to normal. Got the attention of our host so we were able to him to enable debug from the file.

    Hi Jon.
    Nice write-up, your are right.
    that’s how this plugin works, it has to physically modify the wp-config.php file in order to enable debug (that is the only way in WP).

    but as it’s non-standard installation on your hosting, that’s why the issue arose.
    Good luck;
