    Hi,

    I have updated the plugin to 3.1 and woo (6.3 → 7.2).
Now the plugin sense as if WooCommerce is being deactivated or something.

However I have woo up and running, and I still get the following error msg on “wp-admin/options-general.php?page=disable-bloat&tab=main”:

‘You need to activate WooCommerce to make the options below effective.’

How this could be solved? I have turned off and on WooCommerce again. Off and on Disable Bloat plugin. Nothing. Should I delete it and reinstall or there is trigger I don’t see?

Your kind response if greatly appreciated! Thx

    Hello @eletsohu

Thank you for reporting this. Are you using multisite? We will need more information to investigate this case further.

    • Is WooCommerce activated for the entire network or only a particular site?
    • Is Disable Bloat activated for entire network or only particular site?

Thank you for the quick reply.
Yes, I have multisite (2 woocommerce webshops).
Both woo and this plugin are activated for the entire network.
I have updated to 3.1.11 and still not working.

Dear @disablebloat, could you please provide some update?

    Dear @eletsohu

I was unable to replicate this issue using our test environments.

Could you please check the WooCommerce folder name in your wp-content/plugins directory?

Please make sure that the WooCommerce folder should be named simply woocommerce. Is it named that way or does it have a different folder name?

    Hi @disablebloat
Sure, the folder is named woocommerce. I have this site working fine with woo and your plugin very well for years, but I have double checked ?? it is named correctly.
Any other ideas what could be checked? Or should I delete and cleanup the plugin and reinstall?
    TY!

We have the same issue, seems to be multi-site related issue, but unknown why and a not simple log to see why. It thinks WooCommerce is not active as well, so nothing works to de-bloat anything. But fine in version 3.0.3, so we reverted. Sent a direct message as well via direct support. Thanks

Thank you @ingenuitor! I have reverted to 3.0.3 and it works again. It is a nice workaround till a proper correction. Thx again!

@eletsohu note we just did a brand new clean staging test with dummy data and 3.1.12 pro is installed and this did not solve the Multi-Site issue yet.

However we have a direct connection with the author as we purchased the software and they are providing great support.

Please consider buying the software if you have not already, it’s on sale for a limited time, less then I paid, jump on it, pro is much better then FREE :).

It’s worth it IMHO for what it does. They should have this issue solved soon, they have full super admin access to do whatever they need to solve the issue now as it’s also duplicated for their review on a staging site. ??

    Dear @eletsohu @ingenuitor

With a big help of @ingenuitor the issue has been replicated and fixed in plugin version 3.1.14

Please update the plugin to the latest version. Is the problem solved in your site now?
