Activate the backup of website?

  • Hi..

    I have a question how to use the backup I made before my website crashed down. In fact whole my page is running okey, only the image slider which was placed on the homepage I want to place it again like it way before.

    In which way can I extract the files from the backup I made?
    And how to change them with actuall ones?

  • Hi Sonoquilibrium,

    Just for slider, I don’t think you shall restore entire backup. You can just upload that single file related to home page.

    Also I am not sure how did you take the backup. If you are using Backupbuddy then restoring should be a simple process as outlined on their site: https://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/
