Activate pending membership doesn’t work

    Hello,

    I have created manually a user with the user role which is bound to the membership. So, currently this user is “on hold” – awaiting activation.

    Now I want to activate him but, nothing happens.

    When I select the user in the list and click on accept membership in the UM-Action list, just nothing happens except that the page reloads.

    Something which looks strange is that selecting the action “activate membership” will set all fields to “disabled” even if no user was selected.
    I hope the description is clear..

    FYI: I am using the latest UM version (2.1.10), maybe that is the issue. The user was created with the version before.

    PS: By manually removing the “disabled” attribute on the checkbox with the browser HTML inspector (Chrome devtool) I could finally activate the user.

    Hi @wpblogwriter,

    Do you have any other membership or security plugins installed?
    I’ve tried to replicate this issue on our test site, however, I do not see any issues with user approval.
    Can you please do a quick conflict test by disabling all plugins except Ultimate member and switching to the default WordPress theme and see if this issue goes away.

    Hello,
    There is Wordfence Security installed. The issue is still there when it is deactivated. There is no other member plugin installed.

    Even with no pending memberships and I don’t click on any user but just select an action like “activate membership”, all the checkboxes become disabled.

    There is no error in the js console or webserver log.

    Can you please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.
