Activate button with checkbox

    Firstly a disclaimer. I am not a developer! I’m a service manager for a small UK charity, who has been tasked with editing a page on our website.

    We have referral forms for download, and I want to disable the download button(s), until the user has clicked a checkbox to confirm they agree to the terms and conditions of use.

    I’ve searched the forum and found solutions that come close, but require developer skills and knowledge to implement.

    Does anyone know a simple way of achieving this, that someone with basic skills (me), can do?

    It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help.

    I can’t see any specific plugin being used for the button. It seems to be standard functionality. However, that might be my lack of understanding.

    I’m using WPForms. I’ve just had work pay for the basic level plugin, so I could unlock the conditional logic. Having done that, it appears I need a code snippet to be able to do that. I’ve found a snippet of code and installed the WPCode plugin. However, I’m now at the point of being seriously out of my comfort zone. The code snippet I have is for a user selecting either a yes / no radio button.

    I want to deactivate the button until someone clicks on a checkbox to agree to terms and conditions.
