We have a snippet that should help with this. I’d recommend you use the free?Code Snippets plugin?to install and activate this snippet. By default, this snippet is set to regenerate the feed once per 24 hours, though you can modify that if you like.

I tried to use this snippet, but the problem is that it doesn’t work when the regenerate fails. When the time out occurs, another regenerate feed is created in the scheduler, even with the 24 hours interval.

Is this the correct behavior? Or did I do something wrong?

My biggest problem is that the failed scheduler actions don’t start from where it failed. When I force to Sync all products by pressing the “Sync products” button, it works. But when it depends on wc_facebook_regenerate_feed, it fails. My guess is that after the timeout, the action starts from the beginning.

The site’s PHP memory_limit could be causing the time out.

What the limit should be depends on how much else a site has going on. In a fresh install of WP, WC, and FBW, 128mb was good enough. Once you start adding other memory-intensive extensions (SEO packs, page builders, activity monitors, etc), that changes.

We generally recommend a limit of at least 512mb to ensure that everything is covered, though extreme situations could demand more.

Long story short, the action scheduler uses PHP memory (you can read more here: https://actionscheduler.org/)

You will need to contact your hosting to increase the memory in this case.
