    G’day,

I have two websites that have this message – Action Scheduler: 97 past-due actions found; and when i read the documents it states that it may be connected to WP CRON but I have no idea what this is. ( I am self taught in building my websites)

Can someone tell me how to correct the past actions and if this maybe related to the new WooCommerce upgrade to 9.0….. Do I simply deactivate the plugin by woocommerce and activate the new Rest API?
I have tried to read the documents but I find it difficult to absorb the information, I am a visual learner.

Howzit @itiscosmic! It’s best not deactivate WooCommerce, and the new REST API should be enabled by default.

Can you navigate to WP Admin > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Past-due, and share a screenshot? You can upload the image to your media library and share the direct link here. It will give us an idea of what’s stuck.

You can also try to unstick it by hovering over the name of the action in the “Hook” column to reveal sub-menu items, one of which should be “Run”. That might get the queue going again.

Failing that, please let us know if there are any notices at the top of the screen (asking you to update the database for instance), share a System Status Report, and check for any fatal errors with a recent date. Let us know what you find.
