    Hello, I am using the Stripe Payments Gateway in conjunction with Woocommerce Subscription. We offer the SEPA Direct Debit payment method for our subscriptions.

    I have received an e-mail from Stripe that as of 15 August 2024, the Sources API will no longer support non-card payments (e.g. SEPA). To avoid disruption to my business operations, i should migrate from the “Sources API” to the “Payment Intents API”, Stripe’s latest payment API or contact the developer of the plugin.

    For our recurring transactions using SEPA, we would need to perform a data migration to ensure that existing recurring payments are not interrupted. Otherwise recurring payments would stop working as of 15 August 2024.

    Are you aware of this?

    I understand your concern on ensuring your recurring transactions continue without interruption. At the moment, I am not aware of this and will need to reach out to the team to understand if they are all aware of this.

    I’m glad to hear that. So I’m not going to touch anything myself with Stripe, as they also offer a migration tool that transfers existing SEPA-payments to the new API.

    Better if the plugin takes care of it.

    BTW: Is there any release date regarding the “new checkout experience”-issue with SEPA? I have checked the newest release and the issue seems not to be solved yet, unfortunatley

    Hi there @topfra,

    Better if the plugin takes care of it.

    The plugin is going to take care of everything for you, all you need is to keep the plugin up to date, as the updates are the ones going to address the changes.

    Is there any release date regarding the “new checkout experience”-issue with SEPA?

    At the moment, I’m unable to give an exact date however, there’s a recent update to version 8.3.0, you can check out the change log here.
