action ="https://*.site.com/— within multi-multi site

We have a unique network within a network multisite setup and when we use the plugin to create forms they error out because the action variable is being generated as https://*.site.com/page/ instead of https://sub.site.com/page. The * is literally what is generated, I’m not using it to represent anything.
I’m sure the problem is to do with our setup but maybe there’s another way to set the action variable?
