“Acting as spam bot” sends email just fine. Is it supposed to?

    I clicked the “acting as spam bot” button and then filled in the forms as usual and within 2 seconds the email arrived in my inbox. If I am a spambot, I shouldn’t get through.

    There are no instructions to add a hidden field to Contact Form 7, so I didn’t. I went and looked at the form and saw the blue notice about acting as a spambot, so I figured it just is supposed to work automatically.

    But, it doesn’t seem to be working.

    No. It shouldn’t send the email. In this case the spam protection is not working well.

    Can you please confirm these things ?

    1. Do you get Spamming Error message when the form is summited after acting as spam bot ?
    2. Do you have any sort of Contact Form 7 related plugins or addons ?
    3. Is there any js error in your site ?

    Or you can send me your contact form url, i will check it and share you my findings and solution.
