Try writing a Page, and there’s a button on the Visual post editor that should cause the post to be paginated across several pages. Publish it, and see if the pagination works.

    hmm I don’t have this button ??
So you think this is a theme issue, or pagination issue within my theme ? I’ll check it out with my theme designer then ??

    Try using instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/nextpage/

Trying to confirm if pagination for regular blog posts/pages is working correctly.

Interesting. Are you using IIS web server? What do you have your permalinks set to?
What other plugins do you have runnning, and what’s your theme?

    Thread Starter dhaine

    (@dhaine)

    yes our own hosted server
    permalinks post name : https://www.warlegend.net/exemple-article/

I have a lot of plugins and a custom theme ??

    Hi Paul,

Sorry for not being extremely precise

-Got confirmation that our server is not IIS
-I’m using 34 plugins – edit – tried disabling ALL plugins but achievements and still issue
    -Theme is custom

Tried disabling all plugins and same issue

my htaccess has a rule to redirect all get request to index.php if the requested file of dir does not exists.
Maybe achievements/page/2/ are not being found ?

    Plugin Author Paul Wong-Gibbs

    (@djpaul)

Possibly. If you can’t revert your htaccess to the standard file as installed by WordPress, maybe send it over to me and I’ll test it on my dev server?

    hi paul,

I still have this issue, any new ideas ?

htaccess doesn’t seem to be the culprit

    Plugin Author Paul Wong-Gibbs

    (@djpaul)

No. I’m pretty sure it must be a conflict with another plugin, but I haven’t time to go through all the plugins you sent over to me to test against ??

This is a message with my theme designer/coder :

plugin conflicts with the wp version,
because we use native wp files for pagination (see https://www.warlegend.net/news/page/2/)

we can restore normal wordpress pagination but there would be no numbers down the page (back to next page, previous page)

Would it be possible to have an option to show all achievements on one page ? that would solve everything ??

    Plugin Author Paul Wong-Gibbs

    (@djpaul)

Achievements uses WordPress’ standard functions to implement pagination. I can’t begin to help unless you clarify what exactly the “native wp files for pagination” are, and how they are different from mine.

I you have been able to figure out that difference, it will be just as easy for you to make the changes to Achievements’ pagination templates.
