Achievement notification always shows up

    So I created a basic achievement. Once it is trigger, the box shows up. I had an issue where I couldn’t close the box but followed Paul’s steps of copying over the feedback-achievement-unlocked file into my theme folder structure. The box now closes.

    But, after closing the box, anytime I change pages, the same achievement box appears again.

    Any input on how to show achievement box only once. I’m sure this is the intention of the plugin.

    The feedback-achievement-unlocked file copy is ONLY TO CUSTOMISE THE TEMPLATE. There isn’t a reason for it to fix any problems by merely duplicating the file. This is why I dislike giving this sort of advice here and it’s why I prefer to wait until I have time to document it on the website.

    No, this is the intended behaviour. Visiting the achievement page or your “my achievements” page should stop the popup appearing.

    Am I reading what is stated correctly above that the notification window is designed to continue showing up into the member visits the my achievements page?

    Yes. I haven’t built an AJAX request yet to remember that the user has dismissed it, and I wanted to ship 3.0 rather than spend another month working on the AJAX

    I just re-installed the plugin and this doesn’t make the achievement pop-up to go away. What data can I give you to look into it? (I’m not familiar with coding)

    EDIT: Apparently it takes a while after the system detects that you have visited the “My Achievements” page. May be a server-related issue on my side.
