ACF WYSIWYG editor field formatting issue

I’ve noticed that if you use an editor field from ACF in a custom content shortcode loop all of the paragraph tags are removed, meaning that the text is all in one long block.

Anyone know how to get around this? There doesn’t seem to be anything on the CCS docs about it but the ACF page does mention support for the editor field and the ACF shortcode setting is enabled.
