    Hi @tomo55555,

    Thank you for your message.

We haven’t tested this solution, but there shouldn’t be any problems with it. Our plugin supports Custom Taxonomies and the ACF plugin allows you to add new Custom Taxonomies easily.

    Best,

    Hi Mateusz,

We tested in our dev envioronment and it doesnt work for acf custom taxonomies. There isn’t an option in admin and I checked your code, there doesn’t seem any provision for CPT’s. It would be great if you could add it though….

    Many thanks,

@tomo55555 What do you expect from our plugin compared to the Taxonomies generated by the ACF plugin?

Sorry, I don’t understand. What would be great is if an ACF taxonomy included the word “CAT” then when a search for CAT was initiated that post would be included in the results.

Your search feature works very well for ACF Fields but seems to miss ACF Taxonomies. Does that make sense?

@tomo55555 Now I fully understand you, thank you for explaining!

Unfortunately this is not possible. A database query that allows you to search among ACF fields is slower than a standard query because it is more complex. If we did what you propose, the search would be even slower and in the case of larger databases it would make searching for content impossible.

Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, we are unable to implement this.
