  • Hi,
    I’m the qTranslate Plus developer.

Unfortunately all functions that starts with ‘qtranslate_’ or ‘qtrans_’ have been renamed to ‘ppqtranslate_’ and ‘ppqtrans_’ because of WordPress plugins policy… if you have “themes” or “plugins” that works with the original qTranslate you should rename all that functions.

I know it’s not a handy solution, but it’s not my bad.

Hello Artiz20, you solution seemed to have worked for me. But I wanted to confirm with you which files you modified?

Mirko, thanks so much for keep qTranslate alive. I was wondering if you would consider doing the same for ACF-qTranslate plugin? The current solution your provided worked really well and perhaps qTranslate plus be packaged with that?

    Thanks!

I modified all files that contains “qtranslate” string. I used notepad++ to do this.

Does qTranslate Plus work with qTranslate Slug?
I have a web with (old) qTranslate + qTranslate Slug

No problem. Let me know if you come across any other issues with ACF qTranslate and qTranslate Plus.

Hi I am too wanting this and have the latest version of both wordpress (4.1.1), and the qTranslate Plus plugin (2.7.2), and ACF (4.4.1) and ACF Pro (5.2.1), but for my ACF fields I am unable to have translations, do I need to tick a box or do something else?

    thanks

You need to use fields from the qTranslate Field Types when setting up your custom fields in ACF.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am in particular looking for the field type: select but don’t see it in the option box for the field type, do you have plans for it in a future release?

    thanks
    Graham

    Hi to all,
i know the issue is closed, but after i’ve updaetd to 1.7.6 for me doesn’t work: Actually acf doesn’t show any option for qtranslate fields when I create a new field.

I have wordpress 4.1.2 and following plugins running:

    Advanced Custom Fields: qTranslate.
    Versione 1.7.6 | Di funkjedi

    Advanced Custom Fields Pro
Versione 5.2.3 | Di elliot condon

    qTranslate Plus
Versione 2.7.2 | Di Papa Salvatore Mirko

the site is https://www.beyouty.me, actually i visualize both english and italian in one field
