Anyone else having this issue / have ideas to solve?

I think the best way to use this addon without bugs at the moment is to hold off updating ACF Pro until this plugin has also received an update – in other words update both at the same time. Rollback to your previous version and it will be fixed.

What version of ACF Pro works with the current Image Crop plugin?

I’m running 5.2.8 at the moment.

Hi @jesse S, there shouldn’t be any issues with versions mentioned. Do you still have this issue after reinstalling the add-on?

I’m having this same issue. Could it be related to the latest version of WordPress?

    My setup:
    Wordpress 4.4
    ACF Pro 5.3.2.2
    ACF-Image Crop 1.4.7

    Thanks!

Just adding some more information. Developer tools show a 500 error trying to POST to admin-ajax.php after clicking crop.

And this is the error that shows up in the debug.log

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::set_quality() in /www/sites/sonima.dev.idiom.co/html/wp-content/plugins/acf-image-crop-add-on/acf-image-crop-v5.php on line 532

Andrew, are you using the Offload S3 plugin on your WordPress installation? I’ve just run into this issue myself and it turns out that ACF Image Crop doesn’t know how to talk to files that have been moved to S3 via Offload S3.

The solution seems to be using the ACF Image Crop addon for Offload S3, however that addon is only available if you’re at least on the Gold license of Offload S3. Bit rude if you ask me but that’s how they’ve got it set up.

    Hope this helps.

Has anyone found a solution to this that aren’t using S3?
