• Hi. I suddenly noticed that a plugin ‘ACF’ was installed on my dashboard. It don’t show in ‘Installed plugins’ and I can’t get rid of it, have no use for it and I don’t even know what it is.

Anyone experienced the same? How can I remove it?

    Thanks! Best regards.

  • Hello Dear,

go to Your Hosting and File Manager or you can add plugins File Manager on your WordPress Then You Go public_html/wp-content/plugins
    then find Advanced Custom Fields
If You can show this select this folder and remove. (N.B: Please Backup Your Site Before This Process)

    Thanks

Thanks. I’ve checked my filemanager but did not find it in the plugins folder -but guess what -I checked further and it’s installed in a subfolder of my THEME! Which is ASHE Pro…

Then I wonder if the best thing would be to just leave it alone and trust it’s harmless..:)…

Thanks for putting me on track though! ??
