ACF in Timeline Stories

  • why my ACF gallery is not working in timeline stories? every time I click the add gallery it does not show the media where I can add the image.

    let me know if the compatibility of ACF gallery and cool timeline?is Finish so that i can try in my backend if it is working or not. thank you

    Hi @hambs,

    We will inform you shortly, but for now, you can comment out some lines of code in the Cool Timeline plugin. Simply open the plugin directory and navigate to this path: cool-timeline\cooltimeline.php line number 243, 244, 245, and comment out the code present on these three lines, click here for more details.

    Thank you for the fast response, what if the plugin will be update ? the issue will show again and the client will be angry because the ACF Gallery field is not working again.

    I have another question, can you add another feature that the card will be clickable and it will direct to their inner page? because it’s not available on the free version.

    Hi @hambs,

    Could you please provide more information about what you mean by “clickable cards”? Do you want pop-ups on click, or do you want to redirect to the current story on a new page when a link is clicked?

    For a popup, you can use the horizontal layout. If you prefer redirection to a different page when a link is clicked, this feature will be added in our next update.

    how to change the url of inner page ? Ex. https://www.scienceinthecity.org.mt/cool_timeline/how-it-all-started/. this is the URL, and i want to change the cool_timeline part into name of the page i created.

    Hi @hambs,

    This is the default behavior of WordPress custom post type, and it can’t be changed. Please note, this feature is not available in our free version.
