acf frontend not uploading gallery and not displaying google maps

  • I have a website where users can post listings from the frontend using ACF Frontend.
    the listings are custom post types made using ACF of course
    the user should be able to upload a gallery and add an address which is a google maps field.
    but, the button to upload images to the gallery is not working … nothing happens when it’s clicked… although the button of uploading the featured image works fine
    and also, the google map is not displayed!

    I hope you can help me figure this out.

    These are two issues that we are aware of and working hard on fixing.

    For the time being, give your users the author role or use a plugin to give contributors/subscribers file upload capability.

    Regarding the Google maps, is your form inside of a modal or popup?

    the users already have author roles

    No, the form is not inside of a modal nor a popup

    I ended up deleting the plugin because it was causing many problems to the ultimate member plugin.
