    Hi there,
    I do really enjoy using ACF(Pro) in the past.
    Usually I’ve been able to implement the php code within some child-theme *.php template file to overwrite “twenty twenty two” theme files.

    But in the new theme “twenty twenty three” everything changed to *.html files instead of *.php / *.phtml I’ve been used to. Example:

    <?php the_field('fieldname'); ?>

    Question:
    What’s the BEST way to include custom code in the new 2023-theme?
    – Option A: Iclude custom shortcodes in functions.php and include them as < !– Block — > in a *.html template file.

    I was hoping someone of you stumbled across a more “direct” way of doing it?

    thanks

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
