ACF form submits despite validation errors

Hello, I have inserted Invisible reCaptcha into an Advanced Custom Fields form using do_action(‘google_invre_render_widget_action’), however the form still submits if the reCaptcha validates but there are form validation errors (e.g. the name field in the form is empty). The form does not submit with validation errors when the plugin is disabled. How can I fix this?
