    Hello,

First of all, thank you for bringing this plugin. It saves me lots of nerves. Plus, the option to display only populated fields is marvelous! But well, I would like to ask a quick question:

Does ACF Views handle field groups in ACF? For each post I set few groups of parameters:

Within group item I created: start, end, availability. I checked in phpMyAdmin and they are listed in db the same way as normal fields without groups: item_start, item_end, item_availability. Field types are date picker, date picker, dropdown

Yet, the plugin doesn’t see them when I try to insert them into post template. If I pull them out of group, they appear in the plugin config, but they don’t apear on the website. Does this mean that groups are unsupported?

Should I revert them into regular fields to work, or is it a bug maybe?

    Hi Wojciech

    Thanks for using ACF Views!

We assume you’re talking about the ‘Group’ field type here (https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/group/). It’s a complex field, and acts like the ‘repeater’ field. So e.g. unlike the ‘Tab’ field, it’ll not only change the layout for admins, but also data structure. So ‘sub-fields’ don’t exist on the ACF Group level, but within this field.
Our Pro version supports complex types, like Repeater. So you’ll need to choose the repeater field, and then ‘Sub Fields’ tab will appear, where you can choose the necessary sub fields.

The ‘Group’ field type isn’t supported yet, but we’re going to release a new version in a few days, and we’ll include support for it.

    Hi Wojciech
We’re excited to let you know that ACF Views Pro now supports the Group field type.
You can use it in a similar way to the Repeater field. Read more in our Docs
