ACF Custom Post Type + Custom Post Taxonomy not populate

then after save, taxonomy name disappeared (not sure why)

When you map a field to a taxonomy, you need to edit the taxonomy mapping and select the taxonomy to which you want to map to.

To test to see if you are doing this correctly, please try to map your form to the default ‘post’ type and ‘categories’ taxonomy. If it is not working then there is something wrong with your server and you need to debug. If it is working, then the issue could be with the ACF plugin, many people have reported issues with ACF created meta data as it uses custom formats.

This plugin was created (and works with) WP core functionality, creating post types, taxonomies and meta fields using WP core functions.

interesting, possibly due to a character conversion issue when being saved in the back-end.

I’ve insert the contact form shortcode via block editor

please use the shortcode block (not the CF7 block) and insert the cf7 shortcode itself.
