ACF Columns

I am using ACF Columns to handle some complicated back-end form layout.
At current, I am trying to use your formula tool to find a simple division by 12 “1yr12k_total / 12”.

When in a new Field Group, everything works as expected. When I put the fields into columns, it can’t seem to find the first field (1yr12k_total).

I know there are special instructions when using Groups. But is there a simple way to do the same thing with Columns?
