ACF and images.

  • Hello.

    I’m using ACF to add image-fields (fieldtype image). Images from ACF is not beeing copied. Is this a limitation to the MPD plugin? ACF Textfields seems to be copied over fine.

    No, MPD supports ACF. Can you ensure that your acf fields are fully synced between source and destination sites?

    Thanks for the quick response. I have checked twice that the fields in ACF has been synced. I have tried to resave the settings and renamed the imagefields. Maybe I should check in the database for any clues?

    I have just found out that I have “succeeded” copying an image. The problem I get is that the image URL is: https://site1.site.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/07/?p=102

    So it seems it copied something, but the image is not found in the image library.

    And in the image description, it seems that I get content from another field. I will try to delete the whole ACF fileds and start over and see if there is any issues the the existing setup.

    Is it supposed that the image from the image-field is to be copied over to the selected multisites?

    Yes. MPD will copy the image to the destination site.

    Regarding the issue with the image url. Looks like your permalink structure might need to be looked at?

    Also from the URL I can see you are running a Multisite on a subdomain setup. Please note that while most features will work on a subdomain we do not fully support subdomains at the moment! Sorry about that.

    Thanks for the help. Maybe the problem is a cause of that MDP is not 100% compatible with subdomain setups?

    I have updated the permalink structure for every multisite. If it’s a permalink issue, could the problem be that the main administration is found at: stage.site.com/administration and I try to post to othersite.anotherdomain.com?

    I have the exact same permalink structure selected for every site.

    Hello again.

    Just to inform I wiped the whole database and made a completely fresh multisite-installation. I can unfortunately still not use the ACF imagefield. Images is not beeing copied.

    Maybe it’s an subdomain issue that causes this? Any thoughts? ??
