I just signed up to use mailpoets sending service because apparently it does not integrate with the WP Mail SMTP plugin…. I received the email that I was approved but when I go to send my email it says I can’t because my account is waiting for review? I tried reverifying as the support section suggested but the message is still there.

P.S. Because the plugin doesn’t work with the WP SMTP plugin – my server’s IP is now blocked from 3 email servers because the verification of SPF and DKIM was not set for the server but the sending service… you really need to modify the verification section in the plugin config to actually verify the info and not just check its there! I’m still a little peeved off about that!

  • Hi there @popandbob,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I see that your plan is approved (for aviatorsparadise(dot)ca).

If you’re still seeing the message about the pending subscription, please go to the MailPoet’s Settings > Key Activation tab and click on the “Verify” button again to update the status of the subscription.

If it doesn’t help, please go to the?MailPoet > Settings > Send With… tab?and change the sending method temporarily to “Other”, save it, and then change back to the “MailPoet Sending Service”

ou really need to modify the verification section in the plugin config to actually verify the info and not just check its there!?

Can you please clarify what you mean? We do provide DKIM records for MailPoet Sending Service but not if you use your own sending method.

    Cheers!

It did come alive the next day, not sure why it took so long after receiving the approval email.

When I said the dkim record, I mean when its set to own server for mail delivery there is a line that has spf and dkim which had a green checkmark next to it which said records present…. There were records present but not for the server itself – they were for my other email provider which was set up through wp-smtp. This lead me to believe it was going to use the config there to send since that was where the dkim record was for.
So where in the config for own server it says dkim and spf records present, it needs to check those records are correct for the settings provided and not just check they are there!

    Hi there @popandbob,

Can you please share a screenshot of this page so I can take it on to our product team?
