• Hi guys, I was just trying out the membership plugin. Really nice–though couple of quests:

    1. If a registered user (when logged out) ends up on the membership page via a link (e.g. [pmpro_levels] membership-account/membership-levels), then logs in with their existing membership account–they are not recognised as an existing member but are charged again.

    2. In terms of integrating all the membership/account info, is it best to place: [pmpro_billing], [pmpro_levels], [pmpro_invoice] on the main [pmpro_account] page and/or link to the [pmpro_billing], [pmpro_levels], [pmpro_invoice] pages from [pmpro_account]. Aside form having a menu option (which could be messy), I can’t see any other way of reaching those additional account pages.

btw, re point 1 above–in the user registration email (sent to user) the login link is given as:
    [site]/membership-account
which auto redirects (when user not logged in) to:
    [site]membership-account/membership-levels
& so same thing is happening as described in 1.

where’s the best place to change the variable: !!login_link!!

RE #1, you can put the actual link for your site into the text fields on the advanced settings tab of PMPro.

RE #2, we typically add just a link to the /membership-account/ page. This has links to the other pages on it. If someone who is not a member or not logged in attempts to reach this page, they are redirected to the /membership-levels/ page.
