Hi everyone, sorry, I feel like this should be a simple fix but I’m not figuring it out.

I’ve successfully connected my Zotero account in my Zotpress settings; I regenerated my API key several times and each time ensured the proper permissions were selected; when I browse my library through the Zotpress plugin, all my items properly load.

But my account is not loading properly on the actual page. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the shortcodes. What else could be going wrong?

I’ve deleted and reinstalled Zotpress, cleared my caches, etc etc many times over. Just one account is loaded and it’s selected as the default account.

    [zotpressInText item=”{4354635:6A23AN6Y,145}” format=”(%a% %d%, %p%)”]
    [zotpressInTextBib style=”chicago-author-date” sort=”ASC”]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What happens if you try simpler shortcodes, e.g. a single item without specifying a format?

I’m not sure but based on another example you shared, there was an mdash or ndash rather than a dash in the page numbers, which broke everything. I’ll have a fix ready in 7.3 but perhaps you can confirm by manually replacing these characters? Perhaps there’s another issue …

I’ve noticed lately that Zotero bibliographies locally have en-dash over dash, which is actually good, because that’s typographically the correct chocice.

I’m hoping the fix won’t obviate this?

This was about in-text citations where the user has inputted an ndash between page numbers, so should be no problem! In fact, as far as my eye can see, it’s only the code that’s affected, so the ndash/mdash still shows in the in-text citation.

    Good stuff. Thanks!
