Account erasure requests

Users can request to erase their personal data when the Account Erasure Requests feature is enabled. This includes their billing and shipping addresses, phone number, and email address. However, it is important to note that the actual orders made by the user won’t be erased. They will be anonymized, meaning personal data will be removed, but the order details will remain for your records. This ensures compliance with US laws and the Department of Commerce’s retention requirements.

In terms of the information they can delete, users can erase their personal data linked to their accounts. However, they cannot delete any order history or transaction details, as these are necessary for legal and financial record-keeping.
