Account Creation Checkbox ‘Ticked’ by Default

    Hi there,

    I’ve now fully tested the new account creation feature on Blocks and all is running smoothly without any issues. Great!

    However, rather than having to actively check/tick the “Create an account?” checkbox during checkout is it possible to have this checkbox checked/ticked by default? So that the customer would have to activelty un-check/disable the account creation?

    Much the same as the billing address checkbox is ticked by deafult.

    This way the customer would need to take an active decision not to have an account created which would ensure account creation isnt missed when checking out.

    Hi there @rap82!

    What you describe is a fairly complex development topic as it requires customization. This may be why nobody was able to chime in to help you out.

    I can recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

    The WooCommerce Blocks GitHub repo has some excellent information about developing for WooCommerce Blocks.

    You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    Lastly, it would be great to have you add your feature idea to the Ideas Board, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.
