    Hi There

First, thanks for the plugin, I love it!
Second, I found something bothering me:

If you are using the suggested signup process with WC, the account for the new user will be created during the preview step. So when the user fills out all the job details and hits preview, hes being redirected to the preview page and the account is already created. In WC settings its set that the account will be created during check-out.

The user gets an email where he is required to set a new password. This is being done via the “Forgot password” page on WordPress. If the user clicks on getting a new password, he is getting redirected to a WordPress backend page which should not be the case.
Instead of going to submitting a password reset, the user should set the password during the sign up process.

How am I able to fix this?
    Thank you!

    Howdy,

These forums at www.remarpro.com are provided to us exclusively for plugins distributed from www.remarpro.com. The premium add-ons are supported for users with active licenses via https://wpjobmanager.com/support/

WPJM’s settings aren’t associated with WooCommerce’s settings. If you require accounts for job listings, it would need to be created when initially creating the post.

For our part, we don’t modify the login/forgot password at all. WooCommerce, I believe, provides some functionality in this regard. You’ll need to ensure the settings indicate the correct page for the lost password link and that page has the proper shortcode.

    Cheers!

    Hi Brandon

Ok, let’s leave out the premium plugin, I’ll post the question about “Account creation during checkout” on your support channel.
However, still part of the issue with WPJBM, if the user signs up, he does not have the chance to set a password during the signup process. Is there any way to give him the chance to set his own password?

Not out of the box. I’ve opened an enhancement request for us to consider adding this in a future release: https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/issues/637
