After migrating my localhost project to our development area in one of our servers for testing, all accordion data is lost. The main accordions data (including the shortcodes) are there, but when you go into their edit page (where the children nodes are), nothing is there. However, the accordion’s main settings are intact (title background, fonts, etc.), but the children nodes are gone. There’s only the “create new accordion” redish button.

Been using LifeInTheGrid’s Duplicator version 1.1.2. I’m about to also post this to their support section for more information, just in case, but their plugin doesn’t seem to ‘invade’ the code in others. Anyhow, I’d appreciate your help with this.

    Thank you

    Edit:
I performed a SELECT query on wp_postmeta and found a record whose meta_value data apparently includes all the information related to the accordion’s contents. After inspecting the data inside this field, everything appears to be there! The description areas of my accordions contain links: the data is there including the URL changes after migration!

    So what could be wrong?

So now your problem has been resolved or it’s remain same?

I will test my plugin duplicator migration and try to resolve this issue.

    Thanks

No, it wasn’t resolved…what I meant in my edit was that your plugin is supposed to work because the settings data is being migrated and I can see it by performing a SELECT query on wp_postmeta, BUT, for some reason your plugin cannot reconcile it after migration.

However, I deleted the whole migration and tried again 6 times, and after that last time, somehow it worked on its own!

Weird! I don’t know why it worked, it just did.

So my specific situation is resolved on it’s own, but the possibility of it to malfunctioning again exists. So I would recommend a closer inspection to the code that invokes the accordion children settings from the database when the administrator navigates to the accordion’s settings page.

Thank you again for your time.

    Hi,

You can export your tab data using wordpress export tools.
