    Hi!

Thank you for a great plugin!

Sometimes, randomly (once or twice per month), the Advanced Accordions on a page stop displaying correctly. This has been happening for about a year now so it’s not caused by any particular version of this plugin, the Elementor plugin etc.

Here is how it should look, but occasionally they look like this. They are also incorrectly open by default and clicking on them doesn’t close them. They look fine on the backend, only on the front end do they behave that way.

    Fix:
To get it back working again, the only thing that seems to work is to make any small edit to any page and update the page. This fixes the accordions on all pages, not just that page. Regenerating assets does not fix the accordion, nor does changing the print methods, nor does disabling my cache plugin.

    Cause:
This is not caused by something that I do as it happens when I’m away from the computer. For example, I went to bed yesterday with the accordions behaving correctly and woke up this morning with the accordions all open, with no styling and being unclickable. Some plugin/setting is therefore running in the background and causing this to happen. However, as it only happens once or twice per month, it’s difficult to diagnose as I can’t really leave most of my plugins disabled for an entire month.

Is there any obvious plugin, Elementor setting etc. that would be causing this, or do have any suggestions as to how I could go about diagnosing the problem?

(My website is not live so can’t provide a link.)

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello there,

Greetings. Thanks for reaching out to us and hope you are doing well.

First of all, you don’t have to edit the page for fixing your issue. Instead, you can please try regenerating assets. To regenerate assets, you can go to wp-admin -> Essential Addons then, switch to the ‘Tools’ tab and hit the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button. Check out this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/iBccDw

Also, make sure to Regenerate Files from wp-admin -> Elementor -> Tools -> General as well. Check out this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/N6WC1d

If we work on the specific widget (for improvement) and need to regenerate the assets, it only needed to regenerate assets at that time. So we always recommend regenerating assets after plugin update.

If you still think your website frequently fails to load stylesheets without plugin updates, I would recommend you give us a link to that page when it happens next time so that we can check this issue on your website and investigate accordingly.

    Thank you!
