I installed a fresh version of wordpress (6.5.3) and the latest version of the Essential Blocks plugin (4.6.1). I’m adding an “Accordion” block to the page. I click on the three dots and switch the view to “Edit as HTML”. I go back to the previous view by clicking “Edit visually”. At this point, the message “This block contains unexpected or invalid content.” appears in the block and the “Attempt Block Recovery” button.

    Hi pepe80,
    Hope you are doing well.

Thanks for reaching out to us and sharing the details with us. We are really sorry to hear that. You can easily resolve this issue. In order to get rid of this, you can click on the “Attempt Block Recovery” button. I hope that will resolve your issue.

However, our Dev team is actively looking into this deeply. It will be fixed in the next few releases of the plugin.

Please let me know if you need further assistance or have queries.
    Thank you.

    Hi @mahbubshovan

I checked and… you just removed the “Edit as HTML” option in “Accordion” block. I don’t think this is a good way to solve the bug ??

Before I did the update, I carefully checked once again when this error pops up. I noticed that you have to additionally click inside the HTML window. So here are the steps to reproduce this error:

    • click on the three dots and switch the view to “Edit as HTML”,
    • click inside the window with HTML (focus on it),
    • click anywhere outside the HTML window (an error pops up when the HTML window loses focus)

    Hi @pepe80

Thanks for your reply. This issue is from the Gutenberg end, which is why the Edit HTML settings are disabled. For example, you can check the Cover and Query loop blocks where the Edit HTML option is disabled. I think you got it now.

    Thank you.
